Research Methods in Teacher Education: Meaningful Engagement Through Service-Learning

Competence in research methods is a major contribution to (future) teachers’ professionalism. In the pedagogical approach presented here, which we call Teaching Clinic, combine service-learning and design-based create meaningful learning engagements. We present two cases illustrate objectives, processes, outcomes of projects reflect about both terms service outcomes. This includes discussions how this led motivation engagement, principles transfer training are obeyed, what means quite generally for school-university relationships.
